hey Alex, was wondering bout the best way to know if my coffee grind is too coarse for a reusable k cup? got a bit confused there.

BeckySmalls

TerryG, a finer grind could help you achieve a richer flavor, just be careful not to make it too fine or it might clog.

Really helpful guide, cheers!

Hey, not to nitpick, but certain types of coffee, especially those with a light roast, might actually benefit from a slightly coarser grind in a reusable K cup to prevent over-extraction. Maybe it’s worth mentioning that it can depend a lot on the roast and origin of the bean?

JasmineBrew

You’ve got a point, TheGrindGuru. I’ve noticed light roasts do sometimes perform better with a slightly coarser setting. It’s all about experimenting!

Meh, tried this and still can’t make a decent cup. Maybe it’s just my coffee machine.

SipNSavor

Anyone ever try filling a reusable K cup with something other than coffee? Just curious.

love the tip on using a scale for measuring. Been eyeballing it till now and my brews were so hit or miss. game changer!

Great, another gadget to clutter up my kitchen. Because the 12 different coffee makers weren’t enough.
